Following the destructive California wildfire, over 30 beauty brands have banded together in a new initiative to offer long-term support to those affected in Los Angeles and the surrounding area.
Josie Maran leads the cause under the name “Beauty Together.”
The Beauty Together initiative aims to provide financial support as well as health and wellness kits.
Maran commented,
“So many community members have bootstrapped innovative and impactful ways to help, and many of us in the industry have already donated products to be included in vital hygiene and wellness kits.”
Participating brands include Sol de Janeiro, Huda Beauty, Summer Fridays, Goop, YSE, Youth to the People, Merit, Roz, Lawless Beauty, Tower 28, Saint Jane, Iris & Romeo, House of Lashes, Milk, Haus Labs, Tatcha, and more.
Beauty Together hosted a charity sales event in which all the proceeds were directed towards the fund to support the wildfire victims.
Maran hopes that the event’s financial support will help “ease the stress and uncertainty” of those affected.
